Live-In Housekeeper – Private Household (Bracknell)

Salary: £35,000–£40,000+ (DOE) + 1-bed cottage

Start Date: 19th September or earlier

Accommodation: 1-bedroom onsite cottage provided including bills

We are seeking a trustworthy, experienced, and independent live-in housekeeper for a well-established private household with a strong history of long-term staff retention.

The role is ideal for someone who is highly self-motivated, organised, and enjoys working within a calm, countryside setting.

The Role

● Full housekeeping of an 8-bedroom property

● Daily cleaning, tidying, and deep cleans when required

● Extensive washing and ironing

● Grocery shopping and errands (must be a driver)

● Feeding dogs morning and afternoon, walking dogs regularly every day, and caring for dogs when principals are away

● Occasional liaison with part-time gardeners and weekend support staff

Ideal Candidate

● Previous experience in a private home essential

● Background in high-end households a bonus

● Genuine love of dogs and good experience of caring for dogs

● Comfortable working alone and managing own schedule

● Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards

● Resilient, discreet, and self-sufficient

● Must drive (essential for errands and occasional dog-related duties)

● Energetic profile preferred (for longevity and pace of the household)

Package

● Salary: £35,000–£40,000+ DOE

● Accommodation: 1-bed private cottage onsite (all bills covered)

● Time: Generally weekdays 8 hours a day, and responsibility for dogs and house when family absent, flexibility for occasional weekend working (paid)
